Hello.
I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Boston, Massachusetts. My background includes visual design, photography, and past experience in architecture. I studied visual art in many forms at Massachusetts College of Art and Design where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Environmental Design and Architecture. Presently an Associate at Hacin, an interdisciplinary design studio located in Boston, I collaborate with talented architects and interior designers on commercial, retail, and hospitality projects focusing on branding for clients and their environments. On any day at work I might be designing, art-directing, photographing, writing, conceptualizing, researching, styling, or even making something by hand.
Prior to Hacin, I spent a decade working in multiple disciplines; I’ve worked as a designer at an architecture firm, a freelance photographer and visual designer, and spent several years working with noted artist and photographer, Alex S. MacLean. There, I assisted in post-production editing and in the curation of images for celebrated international exhibitions like the Venice Biennale and Paris Photo, and various publications from The Boston Globe and NPR, to Fast Company and The New York Times.
Curiosity about the unusual is what animates most of my life, travel, and work, and I enjoy working with people with a few rough edges and a good sense of humor. If you have a multidisciplinary project in mind, reach me at Hacin (www.hacin.com) or with the button below.
