This issue of H+ Magazine is titled, The Gathering Edition, giving attention to places where people gather to meet, eat, and spend time together. Restaurants and kitchens - where we dine and create - are of special interest in this edition; Features include a nostalgic piece on the closing of the famed Four Seasons in Manhattan and its record-breaking auction, a look at the making of a new restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a food-plating exercise where architecture is the inspirational ingredient. Other pieces that continue in each issue consist of a Culture section where H+A’s team of designers note the latest people, places, and ideas of intrigue to suggest to readers, and a photographic essay titled, Focus, in which different themes are explored. Special photography for this issue included the front and rear cover images, food-plating photography, the Editor’s portrait, a table of personal objects, and miscellaneous supporting imagery.
