This project is a rebrand of a general contracting and construction company based in Boston. As the company was expanding its staff, clientele, and project-types, the rebrand included a new name, identity design, collateral, and website created to help usher in its second decade of business. Founded in the spirit of several generations of a family rooted in detailed craftsmanship across a number of skilled trades, the identity concept is focused on a sense of legacy. The identity’s mark, typography, and color palette take inspiration from the McCormack family’s Irish crest, its symbolic ravens, and the idea of projecting a thoroughly modern business with an aesthetic based in tradition. The full project deliverables consist of business cards, stationery, branded apparel for company employees, full signage for a fleet of trucks and construction vehicles, exterior construction signage for each project site, advertisements for publication, and a company website.
